fifteen years of persistent pain - ending in weeks i couldn't leave my bed.
the appointments that went nowhere. the scans that found bulging discs and the surgeons who told me "you're just going to have to live with it". for a long time i was afraid to move or get stronger, in case i made things worse - until i became so limited by my pain that i knew something had to change. deep down, i knew i couldn't accept that this was how the rest of my life would look.
so i found the science that no one had told me about: that persistent pain is often a sign of an over-protective body, not a body that's falling apart. that you can gently teach your body it's safe to move again. i used it on myself - it took patience, and it wasn't a magic switch, but it worked. i've now been pain-free for seven years.
then i got a bit obsessed, and got properly qualified: persistent pain specialist, strength & conditioning coach, health & prt coach. what makes my approach different is that most professionals only look at one piece of the puzzle - the physical side. i take a more complete approach, tailored to you: movement, pain reprocessing techniques, and lifestyle and habit support. it's what makes my success rate so high.
i'm not a "go hard or go home" kind of coach - i believe in strong, sustainable habits that actually last. quick fixes don't work; i'm here for the long game. i care deeply about my clients, and i'll be your biggest cheerleader through every up and down.
my mission is simple: to be the kind of support i so desperately needed when i was going through it all.
