legal
terms & conditions
Who this is for
These terms apply to anyone booking 1:1 coaching, courses, or programmes with Angie Brand, whether online or in person. By booking a session or signing up for a programme, you're agreeing to these terms.
Not medical advice
Coaching with me is not a substitute for medical care. I'm not a doctor, physiotherapist, or mental health professional, and I don't diagnose or treat medical conditions. Everything I offer sits alongside your existing medical care, not in place of it.
- If you have a diagnosed health condition, are pregnant, recovering from surgery, or unsure whether movement is appropriate for you, check with your GP or specialist before we start
- If your pain, symptoms, or circumstances change at any point, let me know and check in with a medical professional if needed
- You take part in all sessions, courses, and exercises at your own discretion and are responsible for stopping if something doesn't feel right
Booking, cancellations and notice
Sessions are booked in advance and held just for you, so notice matters:
- Rescheduling or cancelling a session requires at least 24 hours' notice
- If notice is given less than 24 hours before your session, the full session will be deducted from your package or charged in full
- Notice must be given in writing by email to hey@angiebrand.com. In a genuine emergency, message me on WhatsApp so it reaches me in time
This applies equally both ways — if I ever need to reschedule, I'll give you as much notice as possible and we'll find a fair way forward.
Payment
Fees, payment schedules, and package terms are confirmed before you start. Sessions and spaces on courses or programmes are only guaranteed once payment has been made or agreed.
Refunds
Individual sessions cancelled with proper notice can be rescheduled at no extra cost. Digital courses and pre-recorded content are non-refundable once access has been given, except where required by law.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate, honest information about your health and history so sessions can be adapted safely
- Turn up as ready as you can be, and communicate openly about how things are feeling
- Use any equipment, spaces, or online platforms sensibly and as instructed
Confidentiality and data
Anything you share about your health or personal circumstances is kept confidential and is never shared without your permission, other than where I'm legally required to. Your details are stored securely and only used to run and support your coaching.
Liability
I take reasonable care in planning and delivering every session, but movement always carries some inherent risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I'm not liable for injury or loss arising from participation, except where it results from my negligence.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect how the business runs. The latest version will always be available at angiebrand.com, and I'll flag any significant changes directly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
