client stories

"i genuinely didn't think this was possible."

people who'd run out of hope by the time we met.

"frankly, without your guidance and the space you provided, i'd have been in a much darker place - maybe not even here anymore."

- anonymous, and the reason i do this

before → after

where they started. where they are now.

Sunlit staircase
maggie

a bed in the living room → back into her own bedroom.

before - couldn't manage the stairs at all. had moved her bed into the living room and couldn't step foot outside. the world had shrunk to one floor of her house.

now she climbs the stairs without thinking about it, pops to the post office, and lives in her whole house again. now looking forward to the next chapter of her life being a grandma.

Disneyland castle at sunset
painful walking

pain after half an hour → a full day at disneyland.

before - couldn't walk for longer than 30 minutes without pain shutting things down. big days out were off the table.

now? can be on her feet all day at disneyland which was one of her main goals (and i'm all for it!)

Gym with strength training equipment
the fear of moving

dreading every workout → actually enjoying them.

before - couldn't get through any workout without pain, and the fear of a flare-up made every session a battle.

now she trains and enjoys it - no bracing, no dread, no waiting for it to go wrong. just her body doing what she asks of it. and enjoying the feeling of accomplishment after.

in their words

"this led to major breakthroughs. i really am so thankful."
"you gave me confidence to move my body without fear."
"i've got my life back - and i didn't think i'd ever say that."

"i wish i'd known this 5 years ago. this has totally changed my life, thank you, thank you!"

"a few sessions with angie achieved more than any of the other professionals had been able to. angie listened and understood my pain without judgement. i was virtually housebound but within a few weeks, using her suggestions and knowledge, i had taken the first steps to recovery. my confidence has returned and i exercise every day. i am actually surprised at how far i have come. i think someone with a lived experience of chronic pain can make all the difference. thank you, angie."

"the tools you gave me for overcoming high levels of stress, trauma, and anxiety have helped me to move forward in ways i couldn't have imagined previously."

"you're the only professional i've spoken to about my pain that cares about me as a whole human, rather than just some number on a chart. it creates such a safe and understanding environment and encourages my recovery process."

"i can't thank you enough for all of the education, resources and tools you provided me these past several months. i feel less scared, less depressed, less worried about my pain than i have in over 10 years."

"i've been to see physios, osteopaths, doctors, massage therapists, you name it. none of them even come close to what angie does. she has helped change my understanding of pain, my mindset, my daily habits and, of course, the pain itself in a way i didn't even know would be possible or even beneficial to me. she picks up on the smallest details and challenges me to understand my reasons and my thought patterns. and she somehow does it all without judgment and by making me feel totally safe and supported, as though she were an old friend. i'm now back to doing my workouts, and even running which i never thought would be possible again. this is truly magical work, she's so intuitive. i would highly recommend!"
